A scratch space for build output.
Git history is a poor home for screenshots, coverage reports and release files. They are large, they change on every build, and a commit keeps every version of them in every clone.
GitHub already publishes the key that proves who you are. The SSH keys at
github.com/<user>.keys are fetched on the first login, so
there is no account to create and no token to store.
cdn.si gives you a writable scratch space for those assets. Reads are public; a write is your GitHub username and its key.
Getting started
-
Check the login. The first connection fetches your keys and answers as you:
ssh -p 8022 you@cdn.si whoami -
Push a folder over rsync with the same login:
rsync -a -e 'ssh -p 8022' ./screenshots/ you@cdn.si:/screenshots/The folder is public at
https://cdn.si/you/screenshots/.
More: publishing with rsync and publishing with curl.
